  7. Netcom II connects 386/486-based computers running SCO operating systems to
  8. packet-switched data networks around the world.  Netcom II includes a complete
  9. implementation of the 1984 version of the CCITT's Recommendation X.25 and
  10. maintains compatibility with the 1988 and 1992 versions.  In addition to the
  11. X.25 protocol, the product contains CCITT X.3/X.28/X.29 Packet
  12. Assembler/Disassembler facilities allowing remote users to log in, logged-in
  13. users to call other hosts, and full file exchange using the standard uucp or
  14. cu utilities.  Netcomm II can be used in a leased-line of dialup environment
  15. to provide multiplexing services between sites, or (more traditionally) for
  16. access to public data networks.
